HouseK Project by Gómez de la Torre & Guerrero Arquitectos:
“The proposal developed by the architect Guilher Navarro in collaboration with Juan Valencia, articulating a spatial flow that allows a strong focus on the vegetation at the field and pool areas that overlook a protected area made out of dark rough concrete and whose green cover is located to preserve all access to the beach gazebos.
The access to the house is determined through a gravel path where the most striking point is the wonderful view over the sea that surrounds the house and its impressive setting.
Laid out and performed with great care is the project intended to express the participation of the user in the architecture of the environment through a series of specific situations, in this case gardens for support of the private areas of the house and pool.
All the construction of this architecture was meant to let something prevail and ultimately the chosen project stand alone, as a guidance of the strategies that can be integrated in a regionistic and contemporary manner.”
