Double Height Living Rooms That Add An Air Of Luxury

When we think of high ceilings, it’s usually associated with an imposing and luxurious home, a tall structure with lots of floors and walls. While that may actually be true in some cases, there are plenty of other ways in which a double height living room can be achieved while maintaining a minimalist look. One possibility is, for example, to add windows to the side of the structure which is usually a traditional approach.

Another way in which double height living rooms can be achieved is through proximity to the outdoors. Although the gabion walls are a big part of the structure’s design, they don’t connect with the floor and the rest of the décor and this can cause quite a bit of visual effects inside the room.

The double height ceilings in the living rooms help create a sense of spaciousness. This is a desirable effect for open floor plans and for rooms with high ceilings that feel even larger. As a result, the living rooms with high ceilings seem to become better visually isolated and less susceptible to wall decorations.
